The earth's mantle is the layer just under the crust geologically. It is foundational to our world, yet just out of our sight. National and global statistics tell us there is a better way to attend to American populations before, during, and after the course of disease. Individuals, both healthy and affirmed, know what care delivery model is best for them and their circumstances. It also lies just under the surface of their daily interactions but, if carefully mined and tested, it could lead to a fairer, simpler, more cost-effective healthcare system. Built capacity empowers communities to bring those issues to the surface, where resources can effectively mitigate them.
